Not 100% if this is the right community for this inquiry but does anyone understand the legality of using software free trials commercially? Is it no just like using educational versions or can you use the limited trial version to do things with?

we pirated Adobe products for years, literally 25 years before we grew enough for Adobe to care and fine us (wasn't so bad, we got everything settled and I'm sure it was cheaper this way in the end).

my buddy was a big shot exec at adobe, he told me they internally would fight about allowing pirated software or not. the board didn't want to pirated anything and have a strict license system.

while the engineers think pirating is a great way to get young people addicted so so when they grow up and get job, they'll pay for adobe subscriptions through their company.

do what works best for you. don't let customers see "trial version" or anything like that because it breaks confidence.
