#Not All Men

I just don't understand why addressing the clearly prevalent issues with men and the treatment of women (such as literally every women experiencing some form of sexual assault or violence in her life), has to devolve in to the erasure of men as any sort of victim ever.

I understand if it's not the time or platform for that discussion, so ignoring it to stay on topic makes total sense to me. But to blame male victims to blame them for themselves being male does not really give the impression that the point is actually about protecting victims.

Men and women rape men and women. One is more prevalent, sure. So I, as a victim of both, understand my time to discuss is not here or now. But to specifically bring us up to blame us for ourselves being born? That's fucking dark and ugly.
