DO NOT approach my mom... Call local authorities... (Reupload)

People seem to not realize that just because you agree with the parents decision and think the kid was being shitty doesnt mean she didnt break the law if he was over the age of 18.

There are two main types of gifts: Conditional and Unonditional.

Unconditional means it was a gift out of good will and there is no stated contractual obligations assigned to it upon the moment of gifting. Examples being buying my coworker lunch so they can eat, a christmas/birthday present, or giving my child a tablet for christmas.

Conditional is something that has had a verbal/written agreement to uphold some sort of bargin. Examples being renting an apartment, a wedding ring, or a car given based on grades.

These laws are in place so I can't just give my best friend my guitar for his birthday and then turn around a week later and say "hey I want it back now, sorry."

I understand that yeah, the kid was probably acting shitty and you sympathize with the parents, but you cant just change the rules because you agree with them.
