Not to bash on religion but I just scrolled through the r/catholicism page and had some chuckles.

I too read through that subreddit, and I find that the things that make me "chuckle" are most often than not where a user is concerned with something to do with "scrupulosity" ( link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrupulosity ) - however to the moderators there ( one of whom is an actual Priest ) and a lot of the regulars who are devout - these concerns are generally handled very well; overall there is a rule to treat people "charitably" and I have seen many arguments come into that forum and handled and answered quite proficiently ( tough/gotcha questions are never avoided ) using the "Magisterium" of the Church. Feel free to pose your questions or objections there, respectfully, you might be surprised at the result!
