Not being a Game of Thrones fan today feels like being a non-football fan on Super Bowl Sunday.

"...the Beatles who have 2-3 of the top 20 albums ever across all genres..."

I hope you recognize that as an opinion and not a fact. To say that the Beatles created 2 or 3 of the top 20 albums of all time is incredulous. That ignores so much musical history and reeks of inexperience. You'd have to define what you even mean by top albums, but even then that system wouldn't get you the "top albums" it would get you whatever you're looking for. I could say that the top 20 has 3 Megadeth albums and I'd be as justified as you by your statement.

I agree with you about your statement that Queen were not as influential as the Beatles, but the way you talk about the Beatles beyond that is ignorant. You come off as either a Beatles fanatic or a rock musical purist that knows little about music history and the development of sound.

If you credit the Beatles for developing techniques that are used today, I hope you can: (1) specifically identify what those are and why they are so important in music since the Beatles broke up and (2) show that the Beatles created it (hint: the Beatles didn't develope techniques out of thin air).

Please take some time to educate yourself on this. It's obvious you're passionate about music and the Beatles, so learn more.
