Dude, did I say I get offended when a person of colour is portrayed as a criminal?

All I'm saying is, a state run website put up these comics to educate kids about the law. Is it really necessary for them to interject race into the comic? Would the point of the comic be lost if they were both the same race?

So the only way this comic would have been OK, in your eyes, is if they were both white. Yes?

When did I say that? I said they could have both been brown. They could both be white. They could both be dragons for all I care.

You know as well as I do that there is a stereotype about Hispanics and drug use. There might be a reason for it, there might not be, that's not part of the discussion.

Showing a comic to kids that clearly depicts a Hispanic as a drug user and a white guy as a successful normal person is not, imo, a good idea.
