Not in a "I feel cheated" way, just in general, I feel a little mislead about the way the switch works with the dock. It doesn't really "slide into it" as much as you "stick it in between two hunks of plastic".

I'm not upset at all, it's simply the fact that this is a non-issue. If you are gripping both sides of the Switch with the Joycon attached, which is the best way to put console in the dock, it is not difficult to put it in without hitting the sides. Nintendo has designed this thing with the greatest of detail. It may be a cheap little junk of plastic with a few connectors in it, but it isn't poorly designed. If it is used improperly, of course damage will result. This isn't a design flaw, it's improper usage, and that's all there is to it. Nobody complains about your phone getting scratches when you put it in your pocket, do they? Damn pockets, how dare they have rivets on them, scratching my phone! Clearly, it's a design flaw! Or, perhaps, you simply need to treat your device with care.

I've gotten plenty of messages about being upset about this post. No, being told repeatedly I AM upset gets pretty irritating. I was simply stating, literally, that people find the stupidest things to complain about. It couldn't POSSIBLY be that human error is the cause for these issues instead of Nintendo. No way! Can't admit to that. So, am I offended that somebody is criticizing the Switch? Absolutely not, it's just a piece of technology, and I'm quite capable of criticizing it myself, whilst also enjoying it. So, stop acting like everybody's a tender little snowflake and getting tumblr-triggered. I am just pointing out that complaining about the dock is needless, and without much merit.
