I'm kinda beat down by how tedious my classwork has become.

It started when I asked my professor for advice on learning the materials. I told him I could do better and I'm really dedicated to learning this subject matter. His response was "You did great on the last exam why do you even care?" while laughing. Another student chimed in about how I was being a dick for complaining when he got a C.

I'm paying out my ass for my education so I take it very seriously. I've been asking around to set up a study group for months and I get replies in the vein of "Cs get degrees" or people that look down on my intelligence (I guess I look like a gym bro since I spend a lot of time weightlifting) which also really bums me out.
