Except, here’s the thing, body count does matter. No matter how much you may want to believe it doesn’t , it does. This is especially true for any man that respects himself and is worth it.
Promiscuity decrease ability to pair bond, this disproportionately effects women compared to men. We know this. This is studied.
You said “A lady doesn’t kiss and tell”. A lady? A lady respects herself and keeps it in her pants and doesn’t just hand out sex to anyone(ONS, hookup culture). This is reality. Don’t use that word in that connotation and have it mean one thing and not another.
Also by saying don’t tell them, that’s a great way to build a loving, trustful, relationship. Either by blatantly lying about the number, which shows there is guilt and acknowledgment of promiscuity being shameful. The other option is lying by omission, meaning just not saying.
It doesn’t set a good precedent for any relationship to lie, especially to lie about something that may be a deal breaker for that man/women being lied to. Anyone reading this please take what you hear with a grain of salt, it’s Reddit
