If you have MS you need to get on disease modifying drugs asap. Your brain and spine are at stake. There is no time to waste! I dont want to freak you out but there is no good reason to put off getting a diagnosis. It doesnt take that much testing. Just write down all your symptoms, when they started, when they have gone away and come back etc. Tell them you suspect MS and you want an MRI

I got diagnosed after going to emerg for a bunch of symptoms. I had an urgent MRI and that's all i needed for diagnosis. I was on disease modifying drug within the month. It made a huge difference. I feel better and no new lesions on my scans since diagnosis.
