'Not right': Toronto mayor responds to premier’s reported plans to slash council seats

It doesn't take away from the fact that it is a major urban center and an innovative city. Toronto is a very dense, very populated city and the housing market shows for that. The suburbs might blow quite a bit but in my opinion it gets really interesting the closer you are to the core. There's tons of different things to do, many different shops, it's quite good looking for a city core, and there are many unique buildings as well as there are old preserved ones.

We can agree all day long about how it sucks to drive there and how awfully expensive and unaffordable it is, but in reality it is very normal for a city of this size and prestige. Think of New York, just not quite as big. I don't live in Toronto, but it would be a great place it you've secured a good job there and you make alot of money and city life is your thing. Personally I prefer quieter places out in the country or smaller cities like Hamilton where I live but you can't deny it is cool to Toronto sometimes, there's alot of cool shit.
