Not sure if I did this correctly

PUA's and gold diggers deserve each other. It would be great if they just targeted each other, but they wind up hurting a lot of innocent people like OP.

Ho Tactics was the the book I was mostly thinking about when I made my post. The thing I can't figure out is if it's more common for women to financially exploit men now than it was in the past or if the internet has just brought it more out into the open. OLD has certainly made it a lot easier to do, but there have always been women who targeted wealthy men.

There seems to be more of a sub-culture supporting doing it now than in the past. I don't know if that's because it's more common now or if the internet makes it easier for daters for dollars to find and encourage each other, I guess there's no way to figure this out.

I think student debt load has led a lot more women to be open to using a man for his wallet. Income inequality and ideas about taking down the patriarchy one man a time have provided a sort of political rationale to women who want to drain a man's money, but, just like the internet, I don't know if those factors have led more women to take advantage of men this way or if those issues just provide a rationale to women who'd have done it anyway. It's an interesting issue.
