Not sure if this is lazy student or a brilliant student. Either way this is what the public school are shoving down their throats these days.

"natural comfortable" range that would be more like 130,

Sorry to nit-pick your post but I feel it's my civic duty to point out why that is a dangerous idea to plant in peoples heads, especially younger kids who don't know much about driving yet.

Most cars have governors/limiters/fuel shut-offs that kick in between 100 and 115.

~95% of cars are not made to drive that fast.

~80% of vehicles cannot drive that fast regardless of a governor/limiter.

Click on any common vehicle brand and check out the top speed, usually between 90 and 130

Of the entire Jeep fleet only the JGC SRT8 can get up to 130, and that's Its top speed.

And I really, really doubt that your average driver is comfortable at any speed over 90, and that is pushing it for many.

I am a very experience driver and the fastest I have ever gotten on public roads was ~115 (before my limiter kicked in) and that was very uncomfortable.

Most cars are not made to go that fast, they start to shake, they get harder to control, it's bad for the engine, it takes an a lot more time to stop, and the breaks are not designed for those speeds, shit, gas mileage goes way down and you would need to buy special tires rated at those speeds.

Almost every sedan, compact, sub-compact, hybrid, SUV, Van, and mini-van are equipped with tires rated T or 118 MPH Max, and have limiters at 100MPH, how on earth is the averages persons "comfort range" a speed that they couldn't have possibly ever driven and if they did their car couldn't mechanically maintain those speeds?

Not to mention that most of the safety features would be rendered useless at those speeds.

Also, parents would never go, or feel comfortable at those speeds with their kids in the car.

130?
