I'm seriously doubting you own an AR-15. Firstly because your rhetoric toward gun owners and firearms is opposite that of an informed gun owner/operator. And secondly, nobody who actually owns an AR-15 buys into the fear surrounding the weapon. It's the same as any other hunting rifle of its caliber, except it's black.

Claiming that it's the same as an M-16 is in fact "disingenuous bullshit." Claiming the AR-15 was ever meant for military use is "disingenuous bullshit." And saying guns' purpose is to kill people is ... you guessed it ... "disingenuous bullshit." The purpose of military weapons is generally to take down a target effectively, which often means lethaly. I'll grant you that. However civilian grade firearms have a multitude of uses that are not killing people. Animals? Sure. Target shooting? Yeah. Etc. Etc.

Sure, most firearms are capable of killing people, but your rhetoric attempts to feed people that their primary purpose is murdering other humans. Not only is that disingenuous, it's fear mongering bullshit.
