Not sure what to do

Managing your insatiable curiosity and preference for novelty can be tough. I struggled with the same thing in college and by time I graduated I had two majors (psychology and film production) and nearly 75% more credit hours taken than I needed for my degrees. I kept taking classes I found interesting.

The thing that helped me was becoming involved in research. I had some professors that I really connected with and they helped mentor me and we formed a think tank. We wound up doing some really unique research: quantitative film/TV/mass media research (most other research of this type is exclusively qualitative).

I found that really helped me get my “fix” for mental stimulation. Some of the classes were still boring and requires a lot of effort to stay focused, organized, etc but that discipline helped me later in life.
