Not Surprised - low risk status at risk.

We'll never reach all folks, vulnerable or not because a decent chunk of them are anti-vax. The folks who have made up the majority of deaths have had several months to get vaccinated at this point.

I think we should give it 45 days after everyone is able to get vaccinated and then fully reopen.

This is going to be an endemic disease. We've largely found a way to eliminate severe disease. Even with variants, the vaccines that aren't as effective at preventing all disease still do a damn good job at preventing hospitalizations and deaths.

We're rapidly reaching a point of case counts not mattering all that much. If they're not resulting in hospitalization or death then this is literally any other coronavirus we've dealt with forever.
