NOTE TO RESTAURANTS. They are your customers too!

I always treat the people at the restaurant exactly the same way that the customer is treating me. If the customer is angry and asking where their order is, I go up to the counter and start demanding to know how much longer I'm going to wait.

Just earlier today, I had an order that was supposed to be picked up and delivered before they even started making it. The customer was asking me what was taking so long, so I loudly said "WHAT THE FUCK IS TAKING SO LONG?" in the middle of the restaurant, which actually seemed to get their attention. When they finally gave me my order they said they were sorry for the wait and I said "Tell that to your customers. I'm just their driver." I hate to sound like a male Karen, but I no longer have the patients for that shit. Some of these restaurants treat their doordash customers and drivers like total shit and they won't hurry the fuck up and make your order unless you're a total asshole about it and make a scene. I now have 4 restaurants on my "do not accept orders no matter the amount" list because they do it so often that it's not even worth delivering for them anymore.
