Nothing's changed.

This might be the most ridiculous comment of them all.

I can’t tell you the number of ways this series touched me, as an American, in a minority group myself, in the South.

This user can try to base themself in some sort of reason, but they can’t. No country on earth has the racial diversity of the US. This person is acting high and mighty in a position relatively untouched by race issues due to demographic breakdown, and if that’s wrong, please do tell!

We have a long way to go when it comes to discrimination. This series touched not only on race and the criminal justice system, but also sexuality and trans discrimination.

Despite massive jumps in criminal justice reform, LGBTQ reform, and a societal jump in racism condemnation, we’re still gonna act like nothing has changed since 1989?

The Trump presidency is challenging, but this comment is misguided and ignorant.
