This post deserves way more attention. The amount of ads has suddenly become RIDICULOUS recently.

Before, most videos of 15+ minute length would just have a 15 second ad at the beinning that can be skipped a few seconds in, and then one more that can similarly be skipped halfway through. Not a big deal at all.

But now in those same 15+ minute videos, there are 2 ads back-to-back at the start of the video, and then the same thing at every 5 minute interval in the video, which really can become unbearable if you're watching a long, 30+ minute video or if you're coming back to rewatch your favorite parts of the video.

And the ads themselves are worse too, usually at least 1 of the 2 are an unskippable 15 second ad, and if you're unlucky both ads can be 15 seconds and unskippable (so much for 30 second unskippable ads being removed).

It's come to the point when I'm ready to use an adblocker. And it's all stupid YouTube's fault for making these changes to the ad system if I'm costing someone any revenue by doing this.
