Well that is what flipper did he crossed strains. Then who ever bought and liked gave the strain its name. In this case it was a sativa / indica cross tasted like lemons. And was a speed weed gave you energy. Up lifting and tastey. Unknown to us back then sativas will not flower outside in nova scotia. As our season was too short.. he was ahead of his time. Crossed and flowered in 3 months in east in the 80s before any one even barley knew about the plant. He had purple in some strains only back then no one knew.. now these strains have became popular. Call it what you will. But he had the right to name his strain as much as you or any breeder today!
