Reviving this thread since Episode 7 was just finished.

I'm going to go ahead and speculate the following:

a) Gene is dead, or if not, he's going to suffer a serious case of brain damage that'll render him useless permanently

b) Hank's looming threat came from what was established in Episode 7 and therefore, he'll have to find Barry OR his ex-henchmen will go seek Barry's help

c) Sally will probably back out and because she's at home or with Barry, she'll get dragged along into Barry's problems

d) The unexpected source is the police, who Fuches, by pretending to be someone else (as highlighted in S01E03/04), will use to put a mark on Barry just to force him even further back into the life of being a hitman.
