Now, if you're interested in presenting an alternative stat block, this is a pretty great third party resource for awakened animals given pc levels. I've played two animals using this to great effect, though I'd recommend toning down the racial skill bonuses on certain animals. Stealth can get a bit too high in my experience because of racial bonuses, size bonuses, and dex bonuses stacking.
