My sub ran out end of last year, and Ive been subbing with tokens simply because I still enjoy raiding with my guild. But its looking more and more likely that BFA is the end of WoW for me, and likely many others.
Activision-Blizzard looks like a company that simply has no clue what to do and is flailing wildly around making things worse while trying to please their investors at the expense of their customers. It's an endless "idiot" loop.
At some point, you have driven away so many customers that you no longer can gain enough money to please the investors. A small company would be dead and bankrupt by now. It's only the sheer scale and popularity of Activision Blizzard (in history) that means such a loop can keep going for a while.
