Noxious' 2h in-depth analysis of game design in the early era of WoW and today, or: How a single game can have two completely different player bases.

It wasn't something I necessarily planned to upload to YouTube, and I just wanted to do it for the Twitch viewers. When it came down to it, the choice between spending 4 hours re-rendering it just to slap a 5 second intro and a 5 second outro onto it and cutting 2 minutes out just didn't seem like something I could afford; I had other videos to produce related to other games, and 4 hours of rendering to cut out 2 minutes just isn't worth it.

As far as a script, I mostly wanted to touch on the overarching eight points of design within the "Mechanics, Dynamics, Aesthetics" framework. Because I didn't show a little list of words on screen so you know when I move from a topic to the next (even though I mention it verbally) doesn't mean I didn't have a specific list of points for each topic.

That being said, it's a rumination. That format of video, which I rarely ever use, is one that I use just to dump thoughts and give myself the freedom of digression.
