[NPW] EHX Canyon,Stone Deaf PDF2, Boss RV500.

I sold most of my stuff in the last 2 months and was planning to try out some newer pedals. RV500 was the first of the three, got it a few days ago. I had the RV-6 which i really loved and sold my DD-7, cause RV500 has delay for every reverb type.

First of all, i have to say i don't like these pedals with a bunch of parameters, presets and setting... cause they always seem like a waste of time. But i like the fact that you can have two reverbs at the same time + delay for each one of them. I decided to use it in A/B sim mode, setting the A preset to reverb and B to use just delay with no reverb, but there is a problem when i use the CTL switch to tap the tempo... the delay stops working. Effect input drops to 0. I hope that's something they'll fix in the future updates. Also the hold/twist/wrap functions are all too loud and much louder than the original signal. Besides these cons, the pedal sounds very nice, not sure if i like it as much as i like the RV6. Shimmer is the least interesting type, but it's not that bad.

EHX Canyon is fantastic. So small and so many options, so much fun. Every setting sound good, love the secondary functions and the subdivisions, i don't mind that it's not stereo since i don't use a stereo rig. Tap tempo is a bit tricky, cause it turns off the pedal while tapping. I love this thing.

Stone Deaf PDF 2 ... still not sure how i like this. I didn't have the opportunity to try one before buying it, but i liked every youtube review that i heard.

First thing i noticed when i turned on the pedal was that the clean channel is a lot louder then the dirty channel. Dirty channel didn't sound anything like the clips from youtube, but i was running it through a practice amp. I try it on a real amp later next week. I hope there won't be any volume difference between the two channels.
