"NRA Spends Millions Educating Gun Safety. Hollywood Makes Billions Glorifying Gun Violence. NRA Gets Blamed By Hollywood for Gun Violence."

Frankly I think the NRA's surprise political move to come out against the bumpstock, and the Republican Congressman in Florida sponsoring the house bill is a great move and some brilliant 4D chess.

Nobody can realistically expect the legality of bumpstocks to survive the tragic shooting in Las Vegas. It's just not going to happen.

So the NRA and Rep. Curbelo's did the next best thing: show some leadership, take ownership of the issue, and drive successful legislation that will be popular with many Americans.

Here's the evidence it was a good move: It seriously pissed off CNN, who immediately put their Lead Hack Chriss Cilliza on the case in a sad and desperate attempt to wrestle back the surprise narrative.

I know how strongly we all feel about the 2A, but sometimes playing 4d chess requires enough canniness and wisdom to realize which battles to fight. The GEOTUS has already signaled he's "open" to this, and I'm sure he's thinking the same thing. I know it may feel like a slippery slope, but TBH I've never seen so much redpilling about the second amendment gain so much traction on social media before now. The Silent Majority has become the Vocal Majority, and that's enough to drown out the Bernie Bros and MSM. Sometimes winning isn't always pretty boys, but this is definitely going down as a "W" in the end.
