NSFW: Period? IUD Content. I am currently lying in bed because of my new IUD. Trans women who claim they have periods are absolutely the most narcissistic men.

I've had the copper IUD for over 5 years now and it's been a game changer. Periods in the beginning were somewhat heavy but manageable. I do have endometriosis and have always had killer cramps, however I didn't notice them worsening with the copper IUD. After the first 3-4 years my period have slowly lessened in heaviness, but they've increased in lenghth, so now I might spot for 10 days and have heavy bleeding for 2-3 days. I had taken many different hormonal bc pills since the age of 13 and they totally fucked my body and mental health up, I even have some growths on my shin bones that my Dr seems to think was caused by using hormonal BC. Once this one is due for removal I will 100% get another copper one. I am a mother though, so my experience could be different as I've heard it can be more painful for women who haven't given birth.
