Oh boy this is a good one I'll try and keep it short essentially I tried to break up with my now ex girlfriend we got in an argument in the middle of the street in front of my house fight got diffused by my dad she leaves about four hours after the fight at around 4 am my door bell rings I go downstairs to answer it two cops are standing at the door and ask me if i know why they are, I say I'm not sure and they proceed to say do you know (ex-gf) and I'm like yeah and they ask for my side of the story and one of the officers says its pretty crazy your guys stories are exactly the same except for two parts I ask what the parts are and he says she said you punched her and threatened to kill her and well right after that they take my ass to Santa Rita jail where I would then get released on bond a week later. Afterwards had to go to court didn't take the appeal wanted it to go to trial (ex-gf) contacts me about a month after I got out of jail (mind you she had a protective order against me) and the trial is just about to start telling me how sorry she is and how much she loves me and she wishes she didn't tell the cops that I did that stuff even though I didn't I play along with it tell her how much I miss her and love her and tl;dr the case gets dropped due to me convincing her to not show up to court. Also the reason why she went to the police was because beta friend of hers who I happened to work with told her I was banging this one girl at work right after the fight which I wasn't at the time but you bet your ass as soon as I got of jail I fucked her!

Tl;Dr ex gf said I beat her up when I tried to break up with her found out later whole thing was orchestrated by a guy I worked with who was trying to get with her, got out of it by pretending I still liked her.
