And don't get me started on the ones who are aware enough to realize they're different, but still can't function in society. It's cruel and selfish to keep them alive. How would you like to live everyday of your life, never being able to relate to anybody [normal], never having normal-person freedoms, etc, no, no one ever thinks of it like that - how it is for them. It's just like how people with Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's/any degenerative disease, are kept alive until their body shuts down- past the point where they can do anything for themselves, past the point where they can die with dignity (because when you're constantly shitting yourself in the bed you're trapped in and some nurse has to come polish the shit off your ass/backside, dignity has been extinct for you for some time now), while they struggle to hold onto the memories of childhood, their lover, their children, because they are not allowed to die - as I said, it's cruel and selfish. The merciful thing to do is obvious, but for some reason, those who cannot come to terms with reality are selfishly making these invalids live an undignified, frustrating hell (while simultaneously wasting resources that could help poor people, or sick children ans their families). So don't you pretend like you're the reasonable and empathetic one here, because you are the farthest thing from it.
