NSW Police pushed for Black Lives Matter mural on private property in Redfern to be removed, recordings reveal

Every time I've called the police for serious matters their response has been an abuse of their responsibility. I was second on the scene for someone who'd attempted suicide. They treated them as if they were deceased, and as a result they died. In another matter, a housemate had been beaten up by her boyfriend who I ejected from the house. When I called to say he was outside the house threatening to smash windows to come in, they said that this wasn't the kind of thing they send officers for. We had to arrange for him to leave ourselves. They refused to take an assault report from her later, and then months afterwards the guy stalked her, beat her to a pulp and ended up in prison. She could've died because of them. But when a maintenance guy saw a single marijuana plant next door to me they sent 15 officers, raided the entire home searching for drug dealing shit, and led away my hipster neighbour in handcuffs.

tl;dr I literally have rung the police but then had to call mates because they wouldn't respond to an incident where a man had assaulted a woman.
