Ahhh in real life the medical issues are rarely reversible or take years to fix cause at that point the disorder is so far along. Also, I hate how they always just "choose recovery" (usually because a pretty boy asks them to) and then BAM all their problems are solved and they never relapse happily ever after. In real life it takes years to work past these things and then those thoughts never really leave.

Honestly it pisses me off cause people would always pull this shit on me when I was struggling they would be like "get in a relationship and he'll help you recover" or "get in a relationship and realize you want kids with him so you'll stop to preserve your fertility" and I'm thinking it's not my partner's or kids' responsibility to fix this. I'm convinced these ideas are from Hollywood because no logical person woukd formulate these ideas.
