Numismatists Discretion Is Advised - I'm desperately waiting on a package to arrive. Be warned. Some of you might not comfortable with this. But let me put it that way. I won't harm any coins which are close to a AU grade...

Actually. I don't have a camera capable to record proper videos.

And no intention to take this effort to produce serious, instructional videos. I've got a professional background in digital media, making rings is a kind of getaway form the digital world and social media and all that stuff.

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my profession. It's not video editing what I do for a living. But I've got working knowledge about it / did it during my studies. The rule of thumb is more or less... 1 min video might be recorded in half a dozen takes, ideally. And it would take 1 hour to be edited. Even in case you do it in a pragmatic style as personalities such as Jimmy Diresta you have to adapt your work to the camera. (Great guy. Absolutely love his work and approach and really enjoy his videos). And my style of work is not really presentable as I tend to be a bit chaotic and I really like to improvise. Capturing that on camera would be intrusive for my style of working.

Anyway, I'm not that professional as I'm not a educated jeweller / goldsmith. I'm a self-taught person in that field. And I already can anticipate certain comments such as "Omg you can't do it that way... it has to be done properly by schematic XY." or "I'm surprised that you didn't have lost any body parts. It seems that your allergic to safety measures." Some shots of my results. That might be all the world may get to see.

There are a lot of youtube guys providing instructional videos on the very same topic. Who partially make their living out of that.

In my case, it's still in the scope of a hobby. Up so far I mostly produced rings as gifts to my family and friends. Anyway. I'm copying the techniques of those more advanced coin to ring guys. Well, I did some work beside of that... but those are just experiments.

That being said. It's not sure that I'll ever go that far to consider marketing a serious product that will be purchaseable - into the very last of iteration of an corporate identity ... etsy shop and all that stuff. With an sophisticated and fancy packaging design. These aspects would somehow reduce the fun for me.

Those boxes you have seen in my gallery were grabbed of the shelf in a DIY shop. And instead of a proper ring display I've just used some synthetic felt which matched in color.

Anyway. Maybe I'll present some of my works and create some rings for selling on local flea markets or art fairs. That being said... you might need to know that I'm from Germany. I'm more or less simply adapting a trend which is actually more popular in the US than abroad. And I'm simply applying it to a different, outdated currency.

Nevertheless, thanks for your feedback. I really appreciate it.
