Why is nutrition soo confusing?

It is not fringe. It is the opinion of almost every major medical organization.

Let's be clear here. I said the recommendations are based on the most updated research and you replied that they haven't updated it since Ancel Keys. They actually did a Cochrane Review of the evidence -- arguably one of the most rigorous reviews available -- and concluded that there is evidence in favour of reducing saturated fat intake: https://www.cochrane.org/CD011737/VASC_effect-cutting-down-saturated-fat-we-eat-our-risk-heart-disease

This was done in 2019 then updated in 2020.

So you are absolutely, categorically wrong on that. If you respond to this with something like, "That study isn't good!" then you haven't even understood the point I'm making.

I do not care what your personal theories on nutrition are. I am simply repeating what almost every major medical organization is saying.
