NVIDIA DLSS coming to Proton (collaboration between NVIDIA, Valve, and the Linux gaming community)

This means that D3D12 can't be "much easier" than Vulkan.

Miscasting is quite the accusation for someone that's quoting a tweet with one snipet of a single section if an entire spec. And I've seen that presentation before but I've also worked with Vulkan before and can say that the difference was very noticeable from DX11 to Vulkan. Like it was much more complexity for me. And you can even see other devs out there echo what I'm saying here, I bet there's even people in the comments that agree with me. I think it was kind pointed and misdirected to say I miscasted anything when I disclaimed that that I did not use DX12 in my original comment. But yeah what would I know, I only have a masters in computer science with a focus in graphics and simulation so yeah I probably don't know what a complicated graphics API looks like.
