[NY] calling CPS on my boss for the safety of her kids.

I definitely see how it could look like that. Which is a main reason I posted. My concern for her children directly resulted in tension between my manager and I. I can fully admit that her maxing my hours led to a decrease in performance quality but ultimately her firing me (as it says on the documentation) was because I asked for a transfer to another store and when the request was denied, I reciprocated with attitude. Which obviously is a fireable I guess but if the tension was not there I wouldn’t have been fired. Either way we don’t have any like bad blood anymore, I visit the store all the time to see my old coworkers and she says hi here and there, definitely no hard feelings. The whole thing just seemed sketchy to me. Like I could see how the question was a bit intense but for her being so defensive about it rubbed me the wrong way. I’m just as scared for her as I am for her kids tbh. Thanks for the brutal honesty tho! Definitely a reality check lol been thinking about this for a while and couldn’t tell if I’m reaching or not.
