NYSBA and DP4NY had a meeting yesterday. Linked is the outcome of that meeting.

This is the tweet I'm referencing since you're clearly not looking at the same tweet: https://twitter.com/XicanaRebelde/status/1294009969679847424

August 13 is the publication date of Karen Sloan's interview with Judy Gundersen where Karen Sloan called the DP movement's advocacy "aggressive."

I can't access the article to get the full quote, but Sloan was referencing the movement as a whole, pointing to lobbying efforts with legislators, etc.

When asked for concrete examples of "racial anxieties and tensions that permeate critiques against #DP4A," Pilar didn't give any examples and instead said, just look at the response to the DP movement. She also couldn't point to any critics of DP4A who referenced the women of color who were interviewees.

Because, like Judy Gundersen when she claimed that DP advocates were being extremely uncivilized and unprofessional behavior, Pilar had nothing real to base her claim.

She was manufacturing a problem just like Judy Gundersen.
