I’m aware, I do typically reach out first but you can tell if the other party isn’t that interested. I know it’s a difficult time and I do have other reasons to believe I haven’t formed deep friendships too, not just the dip in communication during COVID.

And I assure you I’m not passive, I don’t wait for opportunities to come to me. I’m pretty heavily involved in clubs and I think I’m a pretty social person; if I stay, I would definitely go Greek. I was curious if any other people shared my sentiments about NYU, despite being very active w/ clubs and extracurriculars, so I could get a better idea of whether this is a problem unique to NYU or just a university problem in general. Maybe I just need to get used to spending time alone, LOL.
