Obama approval bumps up to 54 percent after DNC

Actually, I like the idea of TPP as do many economists. Some parts of the TPP I hope will be renegotiated such as IP rights, but it'll increase American influence in that part of the world (and maybe keep China at bay) which I support.

Are you blaming Obama for Egypt? I must be missing something here. It's relatively stable and I believe the Suez canal stayed open even through the Arab spring (Obama had no control over the Arab spring, what more could he do?)

What would the proper response in Syria have been? Send more troops in to the middle east? Do you think that would be popular? What we're doing now is we already have special forces there training, advising, and in some cases fighting (not that the pentagon will admit it). And we have conducted a lot of drone strikes. And ISIS is losing ground. And there is currently a ceasefire and has been a ceasefire for a few months between rebels and the government forces. How could it have been handled better?

I'm curious to learn what you think would be the proper response to Russians invading Ukraine? Fight them? Sell arms to Ukraine? How have these tactics worked out in the past? Were sanctions the wrong move?

Libya was a mistake
