Perhaps printing out an email and stapling it to the annual checks we send to Israel will hit home where Netanyahu pays attention?

Israel often acts against our interests. Why do we support it so heavily? It is obvious to anyone honest that Israel does not want peace. Every step Netanyahu takes is aimed at extermination of a regional minority, something you think he's be sensitive to as a Jew?

How about yellow crescents sewn on their clothing and some modern buildings for the 'final solution'? Honestly, that's all that's missing it seems.

My entire life has been lived in a world where the Middle East is a cauldron, and while the surrounding states have been antagonistic, Israel has contributed a substantial part to aggravating strife there. Netanyahu has been particularly egregious. And Israelis keep electing him. That suggests that Israelis want his policies to continue.

Racial discrimination, religious bigotry, pogroms, collective punishment, state confiscation of property, forced relocation, and establishment of ghettos for Palenstinians.... sound familiar?

And we keep sending checks. And wondering why the US is unpopular there and is experiencing terrorism worldwide.

But the real killer?? Israel provides health care for its citizens. Which we subsidize by sending them money to buy guns. Which we could use to provide health care for OUR citizens. Who don't have it. While we bankrupt our own students with punitive education debt, which we could substantially moderate with what we waste on a strip of sand in the middle East. And while we're practicing this misplaced generosity, Netanyahu is bulldozing Palestinian villages and setting up permanent settlements in the Israeli version of Sudetenland. Against the consistent wishes of the US government, who keeps right on sending checks.
