Obama Vetoes Keystone XL Pipeline Bill

Congratulations, you've yet to show evidence for anything. Your claim was that illegal immigrants were hurting the economy by taking American jobs away from Americans who wanted them. I never said anything about the number of Americans unemployed, I denied your claim that illegal immigrants were hurting the economy by taking American jobs that Americans wanted. This is important because if immigrants are taking jobs that Americans don't want to begin with, they aren't hurting Americans, they are filling a necessary niche in the American economy that needs to be fulfilled, but no one is willing to fulfill.

When I show you evidence that your claim is bunk...you give me "evidence" that 90 million people are unemployed...which demonstrates absolutely nothing relevant to the discussion. You've yet to show a single bit of proof for the relevant claim, and have yet to rebut the two examples I have given that show exactly why your claim is wrong (those two cases being the agricultural issues in Arizona and Alabama).

But hey, you know what, let's take a look at that 90 million number. Why? For fun. And to show you why you should fact check your data before you try to push bullshit on people.

I mean, stop and think about it for a moment, doesn't that number seem a LITTLE strange to you? I mean, the US only has ~320 million people in total. That means that roughly 1/3rd of the country is out of work. Well...that's very strange. I seriously doubt 1/3rd of Americans are unemployed, especially when unemployment is only at 5.5%.

So...what could the issue be? Oh, right, not every American is an adult of working age. Let's break down that number for you, why don't we:

Citing primarily politico, since it's the most up to date relevant one, of that 90 million: 9 Million are people age 16 to 17, most of whom are in high school 21 million are enrolled in college or university 40 million are people 65 and older who are most probably retired

So...that's 70 million people of your 90 million who can't work because they are either retired or can't work because of school. That leaves us a mere ~20 million Americans of working age unemployed, which fits what the percentage of unemployed we would expect at the time of your sources (2013 and 2014, the dates of your listed articles).

So? What does that teach us? Well, for one thing, it teaches us that you have no idea what you are talking about. People outside the labor force is NOT the same as unemployed people. It includes the retired (who aren't working for obvious reasons) and students who are too busy getting an education and making something of themselves to be working jobs. By itself, it doesn't say very much at all about the lack of jobs in America, or that jobs are being stolen.

Again, before you spout your mouth: 1) Do your research 2) UNDERSTAND your research 3) Check and confirm your research with more third-party sources, paying special attention to the ones that possibly contradict your argument 4) UNDERSTAND THAT too 5) Reconcile contradictions in a coherent argument 6) THEN talk about it

I'm not sure if you even did #1, but giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that you did, you shouldn't just stop there and ignore the rest of the process.
