That may not have been the best phrasing, but it is only American, Jewish, or Muslim doctors that regularly argue. European doctors never argue this. Maybe monied interests is stretching but countries without a culture are anti while pro studies always come from anti-countries.

As for the reason why I am "fixated" on this is that is illegal. Circumcision is not. That is my issue, childhood circumcision is a human right's violation. if being pro-men's rights (while not being an MRA) makes me a misogynist, I guess I am. This may be one of the few issues that feminists will be wrong on in that case though. Maybe I'm using this to demonstrate that there is a double standard, and it is mostly a rhetorical device, I am against both. You seem so fixated on the fact that women's and men's issues are completely unrelated. I'm not adding it as a what about the men, I'm adding it as a clarification. Its not the comparison that makes what about the men stupid, its the context. In this specific context it is ok to bring up since we are on the topic of if or not it is comparable.

I do belive that the vast majority of FGM is different from circumcision, however, there are certain types that are comparable. My argument is basically, either legalize that specific type (worst option, would rather have the double standard), or make circumcision illegal. You seem to be the one saying that I think all types are comparable, I dont like that. I'm not reaching that hard as all. i have never changed my argument. My issue is the blanket statement that all types of FGM are not comparable to circumcision is false. And usually the arguments counter mine are basically "no study involving type 3 has ever found a benefit, therefor you are entirely wrong". such as yours. I acknowledged that women have it far worse, but certain types are comparable, and it is a feminist issue to combat double standards in gender right? Which is exactly what this is.
