obgyn vs. ophtho vs. anesthesia vs. rad[Clinical]

Can’t anesthesia labs you in pin management, if you chose to? You’d still get to be involved in patient histories, building relationships with your patients, etc.

And radiology can very easily turn into taking work home/working from home, and being on call if you work in a radiology group or are on contract to read for a major hospital. If you’re trying to avoid work creeping into personal life, it may not be a good choice.

OB/GYN, I think, has a perfect balance of clinic and surgery. You get to build lasting relationships with your patients (which is an attractive part of medicine, for me at least), and you said you’re passionate about women’s advocacy-what better way to get involved than ensuring good heath for the women’s population.
