They are passionate.” Might be that he wasn't told of the remarks the guy made, but he never came out at any point and said that this wasn't something he wanted his supporters to do.

These things aren't all incredibly terrible on their own but added together the President obviously has an issue with people who aren't white. You can argue the semantics of 'racist' but his statements very obviously show his preference for white Americans and Europeans.
