I felt what I believe to be a very social burden when I was in my early-20s, and I also recognize that my theory below (which is based on my personal feelings) may not apply to you.

The cause of this societal burden can *potentially* be attributed to an underlying bias (that you may not at first be aware of) you may have regarding virgins in society. Do you find yourself thinking poorly of them? If so, then try asking yourself why (e.g., what about virgins bothers you so much?).
