6’1”-er here. I get some of the treatment you guys describe, no doubt to a much lesser degree, except the fighting part. I’m just small enough that people feel like they can take a chunk off. Hasn’t happened since my early 20’s, but yeah that was a problem for a bit. And news flash: Winning a fight invites more fights. I don’t run in circles like that anymore. Hell, I’m old enough I might have shrunk at this point. No, my new social Trump Card is an almost white beard! Men…you don’t know respect until you have a white beard. It’s a big responsibility though, people look to you to have answers and make big decisions. People WANT a guy with a white beard around, it’s kinda weird. .
