[OC] And the customer of the year award goes to...

As a ex-Walmart employee

Why? Technically they're right. Why is the item not scanning the customers problem? It's a tech issue caused by the multibillion dollar corp, it has nothing to do with them. They're being inconvenienced in the store by the store.

They definitely do deserve some compensation if this becomes something that requires calling for a price check or worse a csm to come resolve the issue.

I'll never understand cashier entitlement. I worked the registers about 2 years and I was always told to have a customer first attitude. It just seems weird blindly defending the company's wallet rather than considering the customers pov.
