Look at all of us Mormons showing up in the DnD thread! So I saw some of you asking about different states and if the members there get weird with DnD. I grew up in a lot of different southern states, spent my undergrad in Utah/Idaho, and I am currently settled in MA.

I can for sure say without a doubt, it really depends on the individual family. I have never met another member get weirded out by Harry Potter, DnD, or Pokemon. Almost all my member friends accepted Disney and Harry Potter. A LOT of the people I knew in University are mega nerds. (look who's talking, amirite??) For all of my church friends that aren't nerds they just make fun of me for being nerdy rather than shun me and think that nerd culture is paganism or something.
