Consumable? Yes. Entertaining? Yes. Effective way to convey data? No. Useful? No.

1. Its hard to follow trends. All you can easily say from this is that a few major browsers switched market share a few time.
2. A line graph with time as the x axis and market share as the y axis would be a better way because you could trace a given line to see how each browser did over time. 2 graphs, one with marketshare and one with absolute user numbers would show more data.
3. Pie charts are visually problematic because its hard to compare segment sizes.
4. All of the flipping is confusing and distracting and hard to follow trends.

This is fluff. Pure fluff. Little substance. Little use. It is not elegant, nor beautiful, no effective.
