[OC] So where does the World Health Organization get it's funding from?

Because the US had governments that cared about people before. The WHO is critical when outbreaks happen in countries that don't have adequate health systems. Without WHO past epidemics would have lasted much longer, spread wider, and many more would have died. You can thank the WHO the US didn't get many cases of ebola in 2014, and more importantly thank them for saving lives in Western Africa. They are also doing a lot of important work right now coordinating the response to coronavirus and helping nations that aren't rich prepare. I don't know if you're just ignorant of the WHO or think aid should only be handed out by perfect countries, i.e. no countries.
