Now that we have a fake republican in the White House we are back to clutching pearls. There is so much oil in the Bakken that we haven’t touched yet due to lack of demand, there is so much oil in Oklahoma that we haven’t touched due to lack of demand, there is so much oil in vernal Utah that we haven’t touched due to lack of demand. The places with actual infastructure in place (think pipelines that were approved under obama) will see more production long before any new oil fields are created. Besides southern Utah is now so full of massholes amd Californians that you will need a reservation just to visit the national parks, they are effectively ruined already and op is worrying about them becoming tourist traps, it would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad
